At present offline employment of our graduates is hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Confronted with new challenges, all units of Jilin University School of Law devote to overcoming such difficulties with solidarity. On the basis of further deepening teaching reform, School of Law continues to employ the “Excellent Legal Talent Training Program” and actively cooperates with courts, procuratorates and law firms in and out of Jilin Province to establish social practice bases, which effectively strengthens students’ competitiveness. Meanwhile, we accelerate the construction of “Internet +” smart employment platform to promote information sharing with human resources and social security departments. This platform enables intelligent matching between graduates and employers by analyzing their needs and demands. However, our capability is limited. In 2020, there are over 700 graduates in our school, including Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, Juris Masters and Doctor of Laws covering a comprehensive range of subjects. With a strong sense of social responsibility and broad international perspectives, our graduates are professional with legal skills. They are a group of outstanding legal talents that adapt to the rapid advancement of Chinese society.
Jilin University School of Law, with a history over 70 years, is one of the largest and oldest institutes for legal education. It has cultivated generations of legal professionals, jurisprudence experts, and national civil servants. School of Law has become a cradle of impartial judges and prosecutors, eloquent lawyers, sophisticated scholars and outstanding politicians. As an important base of Chinese legal talents cultivation and legal research, School of Law has received public recognition from home and abroad.
